Pumpkin Carving

This year's pumpkin carving took about 5 minutes. We just bought one of those little sugar pumpkins, mostly as a decoration, and then decided to carve it. James didn't want to think of a design, and I didn't want to cut it out, so we were a great team. I drew the very extraordinarily artistic design and then James felt manly using his pocket knife to cut it out.

And the finished product is.....

Dawww. We put it outside on the porch with a candle in it. Sadly, I didn't even think to take a picture of it. It didn't last very long and soon shriveled up. On the bright side though, we saved these seeds so we could later bake them in some yummy sauce, and they were delicious!
