Cooking With James

One reason I love being married to James is that he is a lot of fun. 

From what I've heard, sometimes guys expect their wives to make the dinners, but I think James was really eager to show off how much he knows about cooking. (He knows more than I do about lots of things...) So we make food together a lot.

Anyway, earlier this week I was going through some of my pictures and noticed I had quite a few funny James moments. Even if we are just making pancakes, he makes it fun!

Case in point: I told him to put an egg in the pancake mix because that way the pancakes won't fall apart as easily. His response:

Another good one happened before we were married. James and his roommate decided to make dinner on James' little grill, and invited me over. Here we have a well-rounded nutritional meal made by men:

With your beverage choice of root beer or mountain dew.

Of course when a man is making a cake, what else would he use to frost it?

Yes, apparently it's a real thing.

Here is a more recent photo. I was at the computer, listing off the ingredients to James so he could mix them together. I didn't notice until he was almost done...

Another reason I love being married to James is that he's so happy.

One time we were making cookies and I had dumped all the dry ingredients in a bowl, and then had to leave to get butter. When I came back, James had mixed the ingredients very nicely.

He's a great one! :)
